The Joy Of The Lord Is Our Strength
If the Lord says, “Go to the East,” to the East we go, skipping like lambs.
When He says, “To the West,” we joyfully fly to the West, swiftly.
Should He say, “Up to the North,” there we are, rejoicing in the Lord.
And if He says, “Come to the South,”
there we are, saying, “Here we are. Here we are. Here we are.”
The joy of the Lord is our strength.
The Lord has called us to feast, and not to labour.
Therefore, let joyfulness and gladness of heart be your portion always.
Rejoice evermore.
I Thessolanians 5:16
Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
Philipians 4:4
Our everyday efforts are intended to bring us joyfulness and gladness of heart.
Now, and always, the Lord has given us this joyfulness and gladness of heart free!
Therefore, always rejoice.
The best portion is this:
In our everyday engagements, we hope to gain much from litle effort.
But, the Lord has provided abundant gains, for us, even without our making efforts.
Henceforth, let the joy of the Supreme Being
become your portion.
Even now!
And, always!
